See my blog: (http://teamdisoriented.com/2014/03/03/pangea-boar-ar-aka-damn-you-canoe/) there is a youtube video clip of our gps track and I can overlay other tracks as well. Unfortunately, I didn't record the first part of our race. Maybe Hein will send his in as well. I think it would be pretty freakin' cool to start overlaying team tracks.

Let me know if you're interested.
-davidAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7885972904353140641.post-39806486495350306492014-03-04T11:40:56.465-05:002014-03-04T11:40:56.465-05:00Great job Canyoneros! I'm always slow to update our blog, and you already captured the event really well, so I was looking to do something new. I'd love to do a difference analysis blog between your GPS and ours, and maybe learn something from your performance?Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00124273817686339097noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7885972904353140641.post-42613725590623601142014-03-03T13:24:12.121-05:002014-03-03T13:24:12.121-05:00Great question, and one that I didn't think of...Great question, and one that I didn't think of until you mentioned it. I have seen and heard of other teams helping each other out in a similar fashion before, so I combed through the rules page and rule #14 is the one that relates closest. "Racers may not receive outside assistance on course except from race staff & other registered teams." Luckily, I believe we dodged one there being the exception--that the loaned bike was provided by race staff! Phew!

http://www.pangeaadventureracing.com/event-rulesThoe99https://www.blogger.com/profile/14859214219081410110noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7885972904353140641.post-23075010732800518472014-03-03T08:16:19.703-05:002014-03-03T08:16:19.703-05:00No penalty for getting "supported" durin...No penalty for getting "supported" during the race?Junoshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15725353554398617479noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7885972904353140641.post-77199810205147520772014-03-02T18:24:28.853-05:002014-03-02T18:24:28.853-05:00EPICEPICAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7885972904353140641.post-6005135923242549922014-03-02T18:22:57.546-05:002014-03-02T18:22:57.546-05:00That Dash dude sounds EPIC. I heard lots of reports of people having issues with CP11, and so did we, so you're definitely not alone there. Out of all the venues we've been to, this one is one of the most difficult to navigate.

On an average week, Nate and I will hit the gym five times a week for an hour per session, during lunch at work. 4 out of 5 is cardio based (biking or running), leaving one day to a strength training routine, like boot camp, circuit, or just plain weight lifting. The weekends vary wildly. That sixth day is where we get in our longer endurance session that lasts anywhere from 2 to 6hrs, depending on availability. We'll do anything from orienteering events, canoeing, bike rides, or a combination of all three.Thoe99https://www.blogger.com/profile/14859214219081410110noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7885972904353140641.post-16085672691223638842014-03-02T11:09:21.386-05:002014-03-02T11:09:21.386-05:00Congratulations on your victory! BTW, what is your training schedule? Great write up as always and we'll see you at the Dixie Conquest.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
